Telling Our Immigration Stories - United Against Hate Week
Join us for our 3rd annual live event celebrating immigration stories.
This year our program will feature our Story Quilt participants. The Story Quilt is a project funded by California Humanities to share the experiences of multiple generations of immigrant families. Community members take strips of cloth and decorate it with photos and small objects to represent their family history.
During this event, participants will take a few minutes to tell their family history represented in the art quilt piece they created while we view a photo of their 10 inch by 10 inch quilt piece.
This event is part of United Against Hate Week.
Everyone is welcome to attend!
Please register below and you’ll be sent the online meeting details.
