Music Composing for Everyone, Part 2

Music Composing for Everyone, Part 2

Learn to create your own songs on piano!

Don't worry if you missed Part 1 last week. You can still come to this class.

"I like to focus on the feeling I get from different combinations of sounds.  I find this way of composing music very relaxing and calming."

Learn to create your own songs on piano with Joe Stoner, Newark Library Manager. No musical experience is required. We won’t focus on musical theory, harmony, melody, chords, or chord progression. You’ll learn to make up original songs that you enjoy by playing 4 musical notes at a time. Recommended for ages 7-99.

It’s helpful to have your own piano or keyboard, but a phone app like GarageBand or virtual piano website will help you get started.

Please register below and you’ll be sent the Zoom login details!
