CANCELLED-Imaginary Animals Celebration (Show & Tell)
Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have to cancel this event. We apologize for any inconvenience!
That doesn't mean you can't show off your imaginary animals! We are including a link to the song we were going to dance to today so you can dance as your imaginary animals at your own convenience, knowing that every family involved with the project is dancing along with you too!
You can find the song Dance Monkey here on our Hoopla Digital e-resource!
We're excited to see everyone's imaginary animals! You can submit your pictures and videos to our Kind, Connected Summer website to share with our library community of imaginary animals. Photos and videos that have permission to be shared will posted on our Flickr site later this month for everyone to enjoy.
While this event is based on the make-along programs earlier in the month (on 8/3, 8/5, 8/11 and 8/13), you do not need to have attended those programs to participate. See the project page for materials list and video.
This program is a partnership between Alameda County Library and the Alameda County Arts Commission.

We at AC Library care about your privacy. None of our live programs where members can chat or share video are recorded and none of the chat logs are saved. No one who attends a virtual program will be able to see the list of other attendees. Links to join a program will not be posted publicly and will only be sent to members who register in advance.
AC Library currently uses GoToMeeting and Zoom for virtual programming. We encourage you to click on the join link a few minutes early to download the meeting software for the first time. If you do not want to download software, please use the Chrome browser to participate. When you login you will be given the option to share your webcam and microphone. The choice is yours! We’d love to see you like we do at the library, but also understand if you are still in your bathrobe.
