Hardball Documentary with Tamara Holmes

Hardball Documentary with Tamara Holmes

In collaboration with Play Like a Girl and the City of Albany Recreation Center, Albany Library will screen the documentary film Hardball with special guest Tamara Holmes whose first experience playing baseball was with the Albany Little League.

Directed by Matthew Temple, Hardball tells the story of four of the players on the 2016 US Women’s National Team (Malaika Underwood, Tamara Holmes, Stacy Piagno, and Kelsie Whitmore) as they journey to the Women’s Baseball World Cup in South Korea. Watch their inspirational journey to pave the way for girls and women in baseball and enjoy a post-film Q&A with Holmes.
