(CANCELED) Raspberry PI Workshop for Beginners

LEARN TO INNOVATE using Raspberry PI, sensors, and Python Programming. 

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Target Audience: 12-14 years old (6th to 8thGrade)

  • Students must have basic Python programming knowledge (pre-requisite).

  • Walk in assessment of student’s Python readiness is required and will be conducted on Jan 11th 2020 between10:30am -11:30am

  • Students will be asked to respond to 5-10 questions in writing to assess their interest and basic Python programming skills

  • Class capacity is 10 students (no exceptions). If more than 10 students qualify for the class, names will be drawn

  • Each student will be provided a Raspberry PI kit to be used in class.

  • Students will be required to bring their laptop with Putty (for Window only) installed.
