Introduction to Debate

Intro to Debate is an exciting and engaging opportunity to learn the fundamentals of debate. During this class, students will learn the MSPDP debate format and participate in both games and discussions where they will collaborate to explore various current events and controversial topics. Along the way, debaters will gain valuable public speaking skills and learn to enjoy doing research to formulate powerful arguments.

Intro to Debate is geared for students in 4th grade through 7th grade.  This program will be 6 weeks long - starting January 16th through February 20th, 2020.

Online registration is required to participate in this program. Registration will open on Monday, January 6th, 2020 at 8:00PM.
