Creative Writing for Kids

Creative Writing for Kids

Do you want to write a story? 1st-3rd graders, join us for a writing adventure!

First we'll read a book together for inspiration. Next, we'll brainstorm ideas to get our creative juices flowing. Then, we'll work on our own stories. Finally, anyone who wants to will have a chance to share what they wrote and drew. Writers of all abilities are welcome! We write for fun, not for perfect spelling.

Registration is required. This event is for 1st-3rd graders (no big or little siblings please)  - parents and caregivers are welcome to hang out in the back or visit the rest of the library while we write.
