Alameda County Reading Association Parent Workshop
Is your child a reluctant reader? Learn ways to develop a love of reading. Does your child struggle with reading? Learn how to encourage and support your child’s reading at home.
Come and learn research proven ideas to get the most out of reading at home. Experienced classroom teachers will share dozens of easy to use teacher tips that promote success for all children and can be incorporated into a busy parent’s schedule. The fast-paced workshop will include demonstrations, handouts and ideas for practicing these techniques with your child. Each family will receive a FREE children’s book to practice these new skills at home.
