College Essay Preparation

College application deadlines are coming up!

Do you have your application essays ready? Whether you are just starting out and need to know where to go, or have all your drafts lined up for editing, come and participate in this lecture/workshop! You will get tips on good college essay writing and both peer and experiened editing for at least one of your drafts. It can be confusing trying to figure out what makes for a good college application essay and what does not, so come by and find out!

Please bring paper, a writing utensil, and printouts of any college essay material you wish to have looked over to the event. Laptops and other word processing technologies are welcome, but be aware of a limit on available outlets for charging purposes. Event is intended for sophomores to seniors.

Registration Required. For teen attendees. All library programs are free.
