Castro Valley Reads Kick Off

Castro Valley Reads Kick Off

Join us to kick off Castro Valley Reads, a program that celebrates literature and builds community by asking all of you to read and discuss the same book.

The 2020 selection is Bluebird, Bluebird, a blues-infused thriller by Attica Locke about the collision of race and justice in America.

At the Kick Off you’ll:

  • Enjoy a performance by the Dewayne Oakley Blues Ensemble

  • Learn more about the book and the Castro Valley Reads program

  • Sign up for a discussion group and get a free copy of the book

Castro Valley Reads is generously funded by the Friends of the Castro Valley Library
