LEAF Garden Science: Flowers and Pollination

LEAF Garden Science: Flowers and Pollination

Join us at the library for our monthly garden science workshops for kids. This month's theme is flowers and pollination. We'll talk about how flowers grow to draw pollinating creatures to them. We'll also discuss different types of pollinators and how each is important. The class will conclude with a craft project where each child will be able to make a bee can to give native and helpful bees a safe place to rest. All materials will be provided.

This event is sponsored by LEAF, a local non-profit organization growing food for those in need and spreading knowledge about regenerative gardening.

For kids ages 5+.

Space is limited; free tickets will be handed out 15 minutes before the program starts.
