FREE Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Event

Let's talk trash and legislation!  The office of Assembly Member Bill Quirk will host this important event on reducing waste.

Learn what bin to put it in.  Your local waste hauling company will be on site to answer all of your trash and recycling questions.  A representative from Alameda County's Waste Management Authority, StopWaste, will talk about reduction and reuse strategies relating to residential food waste.

Come discuss environmental and other legislative issues of importance to your community.

Bring your Recycling, etc.

ACCEPTED ITEMS:

  • Donate unwanted clothing, pots and pans, and other small household items

  • Bring paper you would like to shred

  • Recycle AAA, AA, B, C, D, 9V, and small button batteries

  • Recycle small electronic waste such as cell phones and keyboards
