Author & Comedian Nina G
Nina G is the Bay Area’s only female stuttering stand-up comedian. She is also a professional speaker, disability activist and author.
Nina challenges the status quo of how people who stutter are perceived on stage and off. She substitutes the negative emotions of shame, denial and isolation with positive ones of pride, acceptance and community.
As a person who stutters and has learning disabilities, she is a member of the Comedians with Disabilities Act.
In addition to Stutterer Interrupted she also has a children’s book, Once Upon an Accommodation: A Book About Learning Disabilities which is based on her own experiences in K-12 and college. (She also has her Doctorate).
