Summer Reading Game 2019 Orientation #2
*This is the second of three orientations that we are offering for Summer Reading 2019. You are required to attend only one.
The Summer Reading Game is back and it runs June 1 - August 1!
This year's theme is "A Universe of Stories".
We need your help with :
- Signing up children, teens and adults for the Summer Reading Game
- Answering questions about the program
- Awarding prizes
- Assisting librarians wih projects as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Applications are available at the Information Desk. A completed application (signed by a parent or legal guardian) is required at the orientation. Please come with your summer schedule ready as you'll be signing up for your shifts that day. You can sign up for a maximum of 2 shifts per week (4 hours).
The other orientations are taking place on Monday, May 20 6pm-7pm and Sunday, June 2 3pm-4pm respectively. To register for either of those, please check the Newark Library's calendar.
Please note: The deadline to apply for volunteering during summer in Sunday, June 1.
