Cassandra Rockwood-Rice is a Berkeley-based artist, writer, mother, and the curator for Tea Roots, an art and social justice non-profit. She holds a BA from California Institute of Integral Studies and MFA from California College of the Arts. Cassandra's work has been widely published in literary reviews and journals. She is a queer-identified feminist and takes interest in the Middle Eastern diaspora, being of Lebanese descent on her father's side.
