Free Tax Preparation
The IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program in partnership with the Earn it! Keep it! Save it! Coalition of the United Way Bay Area provides trained volunteers who will prepare and file taxes for persons/households earning less than $54,000 in 2018. Walk in only; no appointments. Taxpayers should bring:
Social Security card or ITIN for taxpayer, spouse and all dependents
W-2s, 1099s, 1098s, 1095s and any other tax documents received
Voided check for direct deposit
Copy of last year’s tax return, if available
