Movie Matinee: They Shall Not Grow Old

Movie Matinee: They Shall Not Grow Old

See WWI footage as never before, in color and on the library’s video wall.

Marking the centenary of the First World War, renowned director Peter Jackson (Lord of the Rings) used the voices of the veterans combined with original archival footage to bring to life the reality of war on the front line for a whole new generation. Footage has been colorized and transformed with modern production techniques to present astonishing detail. Rated R - 2018 - 99 minutes
