Parenting in a Digital Age
Parenting in a Digital Age:
Foundations for a Mindful Digital Life
Children and teens today are increasingly surrounded by technology. How can we help them develop the skills necessary to participate creatively and make healthy choices in the digital realm? In this interactive presentation, we’ll explore family practices that deepen connection, reduce conflict, and build trust, including how to model for our kids the ability to reflect on and self-monitor digital activities. Parents will leave with a rich set of resources.
Presenter Claudia L’Amoreaux has worked at the intersection of technology and education as a consultant, speaker, curriculum designer, and coach for 25 years. She helps individuals and families navigate the social and emotional complexities of digital life and writes the weekly Mindful Digital Life blog.
