Booklegger Volunteer Orientation
Do you want to share your love of reading with the kids in our community? Consider becoming a Booklegger!
Bookleggers visit K to 5 classrooms in the Castro Valley Unified School District to share great books, including exciting adventures, suspensful mysteries, hilarious comedies, and eye-popping nonfiction. We teach you the book-talking and story-telling skills. You'll use your talents and passion to connect kids with books. Register below to attend!
At this orientation, you'll meet library staff, get a demonstration of Booklegging, learn about the training program, and understand the commitment necessary to be an outstanding Booklegger. If you commit to vounteering, the six training dates will be on Monday mornings beginning April 15th from 9:30 am to noon.
