Art is more than painting and drawing. Art is also creating something new using existing materials. Collage, which means “to glue”, is one such art form. For this activity, each participating artist (that’s you!) will be provided with a variety of two-dimensional and three-dimensional objects that they can use to create a unique piece of art in their own style. Examples and techniques will be provided. Participants may also bring small, glue-able objects of their own to add to their artwork. This program is for kids ages 5+. Space is limited. Free tickets will be handed out 15 minutes before the program begins at 3:15.
