Science Explorers!

Science Explorers!

For grades 5 and 6.  Every 2nd Wednesday of each month from 4pm to 5pm.  Classes run once a month from December to June excluding February (total of 6 classes)

Join us to learn all fields of science in fun and interactive ways using hands-on experiments, engaging learning, and simple, yet detailed explanations.  

Space is limited.  A ticket is required to attend.  Tickets are free and will be handed out 15 minutes before the class starts.

Curriculum:

  • December 12, 2018: DNA and Genome Investigations

  • January 9, 2019: Matter and Density

  • March 13, 2019: Non-Newtonian Substances

  • April 10, 2019: Human Body Systems

  • May 8, 2019: Basic Physics and Motion

  • June 12, 2019: Newton's Laws, Theories, and Formulas
