Minor Home Repair Grants are available for qualifying homeowners

in Albany, Dublin, Emeryville, Newark, Union City and the unincorporated

areas of Ashland, Cherryland, Castro Valley, Hillcrest Knolls, Fairview,

San Lorenzo, and Sunol for repairs such as plumbing, carpentry, electrical,

railings, grab bars, toilets, water heaters, furnaces, doors and locks and more!

Lead Hazard Repair Grants up to $10,000 per unit, plus a healthy-housing

grant for properties that test positive for lead hazards are available countywide

for owner occupied and rental properties that are occupied by low-income

families to address lead hazards for properties built before 1978,

(priority for pre-1960 properties).
