Practice Your Spoken English about Chinese/Lunar New Year
Improve your spoken English by talking with native speakers about everyday topics in a friendly, welcoming setting. This weekly program is for English language learners at the intermediate level and above.
Today is the official Chinese/Lunar New Year; therefore, Chinese/Lunar New Year will be the special topic of the day. Some students will bring treats to class for celebration and prepare to SPEAK about the celebration, the tradition and the treats they bring in, e.g., the preparation, the ingredients, the significance, and the backstory. All are welcome to join the celebration with goodies.
Registration is required.
