Science for Youth: Polymers

Science for Youth is a nonprofit made up of local high schoolers.  We teach kids fun science topics while doing hands-on experiments to promote children's interest in the science field.

For kids grades K to 6.  Every first Saturday of the month (October-June) from 10:30-11:30 am (*February 2019 class moved to 2/1 4-5 pm).  Registration is required and starts at 1 pm, 2 weeks before each class date.

The dates and topics are:

10/6 - Density

11/3 - Paper Chromatography

12/1 - Polar & Nonpolar

1/5 - Refraction

2/1 - Polymers

3/2 - Acids/Bases

4/6 - Earth Day

5/4 - Air Pressure

6/1 - States of Matter
