Nowruz Celebration

Nowruz Celebration

Join us to ring in the Persian New Year!

Nowruz is a holiday celebrating the Vernal Equinox- the beginning of Spring in the Northern Hemisphere.  For over 3,000 years, various communities across the Middle East, Asia, and elsewhere have welcomed the return of the Sun crossing the celestial equator, equalizing the length of day and night.

We will observe poetry, dance, and music to celebrate this cosmic event.
